Magnets in Real Life (Research Task)
You are given 2 worksheet to research on. Read the articles on how such inventions came about. Use the questions given to help you in your Thinking Routines.
  1. Floating Bed
  2. Super-Magnet (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Magnet)
    Complete a See-Think-Wonder Design for each worksheet on a separate piece of paper.
    • You can use colour papers or fulscape to design your See-Think-Wonder. 
    • Coloured pens are allowed. (However, do avoid bright colours)
    • Feel free to go online to research more on these 2 inventions. (you can quote the source.)
    • Make use of the Scaffolds (I see, I think, I wonder...) as you answers the questions.
    • You may use drawings to illustrate your understanding.
    • Be prepared for presentation of your See-Think-Wonder Design when school reopen.

    You current NSB is almost used up, you will need to buy a NEW NSB for Term 3 & Term 4.

      When I wanted to post something on KF, the note was typed half way even though I finished typing so I edited it. When I finished typing again, I can't contribute. Can you roughly tell me what to do now?

      1. I suspect there could be some technical problem on the serve. In the meantime, you can write your thoughts in your NSB first before you might forgotten about it.

      On the Science Worksheet on the Super Magnet, it asked us to visit the BrainPOP website. I tried to type the website several times but it didn't show me a page about magnetic fields. What should I do now?
