Magnets in Real Life (Research Task)
You are given 2 worksheet to research on. Read the articles on how such inventions came about. Use the questions given to help you in your Thinking Routines.
  1. Floating Bed
  2. Super-Magnet (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Magnet)
    Complete a See-Think-Wonder Design for each worksheet on a separate piece of paper.
    • You can use colour papers or fulscape to design your See-Think-Wonder. 
    • Coloured pens are allowed. (However, do avoid bright colours)
    • Feel free to go online to research more on these 2 inventions. (you can quote the source.)
    • Make use of the Scaffolds (I see, I think, I wonder...) as you answers the questions.
    • You may use drawings to illustrate your understanding.
    • Be prepared for presentation of your See-Think-Wonder Design when school reopen.

    Science NSB Homework
    We have done a Word Splash on Materials. You should have about 20 words.
    We have started generating 10 sentences using the words that you have came up with.
    Highlight the words that you've used from the words splash. They should be your keywords.
    Complete the 10 sentences as homework.
    This is due tomorrow, 18 May.

    [16/5] Return of SA1 Exam Papers & Some Reminders

    SA1 Exam Papers
    The following Exam Papers has been returned today. Get Parent's Signature on the cover page where the total marks is written.

    • SA1 Maths Paper (OAS to be stapled behind)
    • SA1 Science Paper Booklet A (OAS to be stapled behind)
    • SA1 Science Paper Booklet B.
    Bring back all the papers tomorrow for checking of parent's signature.
    Maths Paper will be returned after checking that it has been signed.
    Science Paper will be filed into Science file and pupils can bring home tomorrow.
    There are 15 pupils whose file will be send for checking. They will get back their files by next Thursday.
