Science Homework
We had a hands-on session today with magnets of different shapes and sizes.
You have learnt that:
- There are strong and weak magnets.
- Magnets can attract and repel.
- Magnets has two poles. Like poles repel and unlike poles attract.
- When magnet repel / pushed away another magnet, it is difficult to hold the magnet in place as it's likely to flipped around and attract to the other side.
- "Floating Bed" example can be explained using the concept of repulsion of magnets.
Complete pg 16-18 in your Interactions Activity Book
This is due Thursday, 30 Jun.
You are encouraged to continue to explore more on magnets during your free time.
Here are some places you can buy magnets to explore and learn on your own.
Use of Pen in Maths & Science Written Work
You can start using pen from Term 3 onwards. (except for selected pupils)
Please note that only Blue or Blue pen is allowed. You are encouraged to use ball point or gel pen, instead of liquid ink pen
Avoid using Bright/light blue ink and brown ink.
You are encouraged to continue to explore more on magnets during your free time.

Temperature-Taking Exercise on Thursday (30 Jun)
You're reminded to bring your thermometer tomorrow or Wednesday for checking as well as having the thermometer with you on Thursday itself.
Science Spelling tomorrow
This is a reminder that there is Science Spelling tomorrow on Magnets (No. 1-10)
Do remember to bring your NSB book.
Science File, Interaction AB & NSB
Bring your Science File. As there are not many worksheets inside, you do not need to empty Semester 1's work.
Bring your Interactions Activity Book (if you have not given me at the end of Term 2)
Buy a new NSB if yours is almost used up or already have cover page coming off.
Maths File
Bring an empty Maths File. You are to keep Semester 1's work neatly at home for revision.

- You can use colour papers or fulscape to design your See-Think-Wonder.
